My plots are looking awesome, I experimented this year and started mowing old fields right off the bat and overseeding without plowing using the heavy grass clippings as the mulch and so far the plots are better than any that I have spent hours prepping with weed killer and tillage.  They are green as ever with clover and ryegrass.  The brassicas haven't seemed to take much but the rest is premo green veg, too bad the adjacent benas are the draw right now but come fall the green aughta win over I would think

Mike, Huff lost about 30-40 acres of beans on my land... Apparently a fertilizer/spray screw up.  I guess he's pretty upset (understandably), I left him a message when I saw it but haven't heard back.  Everything around there is good, although my front field isn't planted by the other farmer who leases that one - They worked some new ground this year and got behind so that will be winter wheat.  It will be a first since I've owned the land and I'm curious to see how it affects deer travel.  Strange year for me with the farmed fields...

Thanks for the updates guys, sounds like a good season for everyone is in the works!  I'm heading to Sonyea for an installation tomorrow, need to catch some zzz's!

Just be careful with those "deer attractant and feed" products.  Don't be like the Nuge! Shocked
